„Bis auf das Internet in Ordnung

Ich war zum vierten Mal dort, die Lage ist sehr gut, das Personal überwiegend freundlich.

Das Internet wird von Mal zu Mal schlechter, zuerst ok, dann mäßig, danach langsam mit Ausfällen und jetzt Schneckentempo bis gar nicht, Mann an der Rezeption hilflos. Check Out war um 12 Uhr, die Reinigungskraft klopfte bereits um 11:40 und fragte, ob ich fertig sei. Um 11:59 musste sie unbedingt das Zimmer betreten, obwohl ich gerade ihre Arbeit mit saubermachen und Geschirr abwaschen verrichtete und verlies das Zimmer um 12:03. Das empfinde ich einem mehrmaligen Gast gegenüber als ziemlich unhöflich.

Frühstück passabel, auch wenn es Küchenschaben gab.

Der Musiklärm am Abend ist mitunter belastend, angebliche Schallschutzfenster gab es nicht. Das war eine glatte Lüge. Dann sollte man dies nicht reinschreiben. Das Zimmer war sehr knapp bemessen. Im nicht beheizbaren Bad ist es im Januar morgens sehr frisch, da sich die Lüftungsfenster auch nicht mehr schlossen und das hätte auch nicht viel gebracht. Die betten sind durchgelegen und unbequem. Bei den niedrigen Preis, den wir im Vergleich zu anderen zahlten. Kann man jedoch auch nicht mehr erwarten.

„Faszinierend und ungewöhnlich für mich, aber anstrengend.

Der Ausblick vom gläsernen Balkon war sehr schön. Der Internet - Empfang funktionierte ohne WLAN, worüber ich mich freute. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Erschreckend war, dass ich jede einzelne Nacht laut vom Restaurant nebenan beschallt wurde. Lt. Beschreibung sollte das Hotel 200 m vom Zentrum liegen. Mich hatte der kleine Park angezogen, der direkt anschließt. Es ist aber eher zentraler Veranstaltungsort. Das muss man vorher erfahren! Ausserdem krabbelten immer wieder Käfer im Kuechenbereich herum

„Immer gern wieder

Dritter Aufenthalt, Lärmempfindliche müssen mit Unterhaltung aus dem Tanzlokal gegenüber rechnen, erster Stock also nicht so geeignet, dafür auf dem Eckzimmer ein Riesenbalkon. Das Zimmer ist groß aber etwas verbaut, würde man den Nachtschrank zwischen den zwei Einzelbetten abschrauben, müsste man sich nicht durchzwängen. Das Internet in dem Zimmer (101) war lahm bis zeitraubend, in den anderen Zimmern gut. Häufig liegt es am Regen, dort wurde es aber auch ohne Regen nur zeitweise wesentlich schneller. Ein kleiner Ofen wäre vorteilhaft, kostet um 50 €, der Herd ist superstark, Kühlschrank alt, aber kühlt. Die Bratpfannen in den Zimmern sind nur bedingt geeignet, fast alles klebt fest oder brennt an.

„Einfaches und etwas abgewohntes Hotel jedoch mit sehr gutem Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

Aufgrund der Bewertung und des Preises haben wir uns nichts Besonderes erwartet, wurden aber vom Frühstück sehr positiv überrascht. Es gab frisches Obst und auch das Käse- und Wurstbuffet war für diesen Preis mehr als gut. Und der immer positiv gelaunte Kellner (manchmal mit Gesang) hat uns den Start in den Tag mehr als perfekt gestaltet. Das Personal an der Rezeption war zwar bemüht, in unserem speziellen Fall aber überfordert (Wunsch nach Zimmerwechsel).

Das Zimmer war leider unter den Erwartungen, da sehr eng und mit wenig Licht. Betrifft aber speziell nur einige wenige Zimmer direkt neben dem Lift und der Stiege (wir hatten die Erfahrung mit 401 und 501 gemacht, die x01 würde ich daher tunlichst vermeiden). Zusätzlich hat die Türe ins Bad extrem laut gequietscht, was beim nächtlichen WC Gang eher störend war. Die Tür offen zu lassen, war auch nicht wirklich eine Option, da die Fensterluken im Bad nicht schließbar sind und daher ordentlich Lärm von aussen hereindringt. Die Lage ist nämlich sehr zentral mit vielen Bars und die Müllabfuhr startet auch schon um 5.30 in der Früh. Mitunter fühlten sich manche sogar bemüßigt, den Glascontainer schon in der Nacht zu befüllen. Aufgrund der Enge und dem wenigen Licht im Zimmer sowie einem plötzlichen am Abend auftretenden Geräusch wollten wir das Zimmer wechseln, was sich als sehr schwierig herausgestellt hat. Laut Auskunft der Rezeption waren zwar Zimmer frei, jedoch durch booking.com reserviert und damit nicht direkt verfügbar für das Hotelpersonal. Konnte ich so zwar nicht glauben, aber auch der Manager war am Abend nicht mehr erreichbar. Gelöst habe ich das Problem dann, indem ich einfach ein zweites Zimmer über booking.com gebucht habe, das dann völlig in Ordnung war. Ausreichende Größe, hell mit Balkon und durchaus einladend. Waren zwar Mehrkosten, aber in überschaubarem Rahmen. Werde mit booking.com noch wegen etwaiger Refundierung sprechen.

„Nettes Hotel im historischen Zentrum von Puerto de la Cruz

Sehr zentrales Hotel, alles gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Angenehm großes Zimmer mit separate Kitchenette und Balkon. Sehr gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet, sehr nettes Personal. Parkplatz vor der Tür. Das Hotel hat 2 Schwimmbecken auf der Dach Terrasse, die wir jedoch nicht benutzt haben, das Meer liegt nur 200m entfernt und man kann wunderbar im Hafenbecken schwimmen.

- wurde schon erwähnt, ist aber nicht unwichtig: das Restaurant gegenüber spielt abends live Musik EXTREM laut, bis 23:30. Uns hat das nicht gestört, da wir nie vorher zurück waren. - gut zu wissen: der Eingang des Hotels ist hinten, beim Hotel Park Plaza. An den viele Flure gewöhnt man sich sofort ;-)

„Zweiter Aufenthalt im Hotel Tropical beste Lage und angenehme Atnsphäre

Ich war zum zweiten Mal dort, das sagt eigentlich alles. Die Lage kann besser nicht sein, wer aber absolute Ruhe haben möchte, ist hier nicht so gut beraten, es gibt musikalische Unterhaltung aus dem Tanzlokal nebenan. Mich stört es nicht. Dazu hat es einen kleinen Pool auf dem Dach (7. Stock) mit Sonnenterrasse. Eine Küche ist auch vorhanden, fehlt nur ein kleines Öfchen für 50 Euro, dann wäre sie perfekt.

Die Armaturen in der Küche gehen sehr schwer zu drehen, eine Deckenlampe fehlt, aber ich bin sicher, dass der Servicio technico das erledigt. .

Die Lage ist sehr gut und der Pool auf dem Dach zum abkühlen und tollem ausblick ist ein tolles nice to have.

Wenn es zur vorhandenen Mikrowelle auch noch das passende Geschirr geben würde, wäre es sogar ein Pluspunkt.

„Gutes Hotel...sehr laut.

Preis, Frühstück und Service.

Sehr laut jeden Abend bis 01.30 Uhr...Musik im direkt daneben liegenden Restaurant...trotz Ohropax störend....und auch zeitweise sehr Laute Nachbarn.

It's cheap and adequate central location, balcony, cooking facilities for the price it's fine

Central location really excellent by plaza charco there was a little cooking area and a nice balcony looking over the plaza clean bathroom with towels and hot water after the breakfast rush cleaning ladies around every day if u need anything done

Very tired and in need of a refresh BIGTIME no fault of the hotel being in the center of the town the cafe next door has music from 20. 00 until midnight every day and it is very loud!! Same singer same songs, that is the biggest thing to negotiate.

Centrally located hotel

The location is excellent, the staff so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced at €8 per person. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but a bit tired looking, the bed linen was spotlessly clean but again needed replacing, one of the bed covers had cigarette burns. The kitchenette was a bonus, but the refrigerator was in bad need of defrosting, to be honest it needs replacing it worked but had been painted to improve its look. A kettle would have been appreciated but pans did the job for boiling water. It states the rooms are soundproofed, this isn’t the case. All in all a pleasant stay with very helpful staff.
